Playing fairly
Do not cheat, automate play, exploit bugs, disrupt servers or other players, or harass anyone. We may remove names, items, ads or accounts that break these rules, and may reset stats or coins earned unfairly.
Accounts and usernames
Accounts are optional. Keep your sign-in methods secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Usernames must not impersonate staff, other players or brands, or be offensive; we may change or reclaim a username that does. You may change your username once every 30 days. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen.
Coins, cases and items
Coins, cases, keys, hats and body effects are a limited licence to use cosmetic content in the game. They have no cash value and are not refundable except where the law or the store you bought from requires it. Inside the game you can trade hats, body effects and cases with other players and buy or sell them for coins on the Community Market (the Market keeps a 5% fee, at least 1 coin). Keys stay on your account and can't be traded or sold. Coins and items cannot be sold or transferred for money or outside the game. Coins do not expire. You earn cases by playing or buy them from other players, and you open each case with its own key, bought with coins. Each case shows the chance of every rarity before you open it. Our server chooses the item and its condition when you open it; every item you get is a separate copy, and duplicates never return coins. Opening cases and buying keys may not be available in every region. We may add, change or retire items and packs, but we will not remove items you own without cause.
Purchases
Web purchases are processed by Stripe and App Store purchases by Apple, under their terms. Prices include or add taxes as shown at checkout. If a payment is refunded or reversed, we remove the coins or billboard days it granted; if they were already spent, your balance may show coins owed until it is repaid by later earnings.
Billboard ads
Each billboard day you book shows your picture on signs in the game worlds for that UTC day, taking turns with other ads. You must own or have permission to use everything in your picture, and it must follow the ad policy. By submitting, you let us display, resize and review it for as long as your ad runs. Every ad is reviewed before it runs; a rejected ad returns its days. We may take down an ad that breaks the policy or draws reports, and the days of an ad removed for a policy violation are not returned. View counts are measured by our game servers and are estimates, not a guarantee of audience.
The service
The game is provided as is and may change, pause or stop. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Changes
We will update this page when these terms change. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new terms.
