Slither World is a snake game on a small, round planet. Eat glowing pellets to grow longer, and keep your head away from other snakes.

A Battle Royale game seen from above: a striped snake curving across green hexagon ground, glowing pellets, other snakes, a compass at the top, a list of snakes left in the top right and a minimap in the bottom right
  1. Your snake. Only its head is vulnerable.
  2. The pointer. Your snake heads toward it. Hold the left mouse button or Shift to boost.
  3. Pellets. Eat them to grow.
  4. Another snake. Keep your head off its body.
  5. Snakes left in Battle Royale, or the leaderboard in Infinite.
  6. Minimap of the whole planet. Blue is the storm.
  7. Compass and the name of the area you're in.

Stay alive

Only your head is vulnerable.

You

Your head hits a body: you're out.

You

A head hits your body: they're out.

  • Other snakes: if your head touches another snake, you're out. If another snake's head touches your body, they're out. You can't run into yourself.
  • Head-on: whoever hits first is out. If you hit at the same moment, you're both out.
  • Teammates: in Trios, touching a teammate is just as dangerous.
  • Cacti eliminate you. Trees, rocks and mountains are solid, and your head slides along them.
  • Water: your head can stay under for about 10 seconds. You're out when the oxygen bar runs out.
  • Magma eliminates you almost at once.
  • The storm (Battle Royale) eliminates you after about 7 seconds outside the safe area.

After you're out

Battle Royale: choose Play again to find another match in the same mode (your party stays together), Spectate to watch the rest of the match, or Return to lobby. In Trios you can watch only your living teammates.

Infinite: the game goes back to the menu. Press Play to start again with a new snake.

Connection trouble

On a phone, keep the game open while you play. Switching to another app disconnects you.

If your connection drops in Battle Royale, come back within about 15 seconds to keep playing. After that your snake is eliminated, but you can still see your result. In Infinite, disconnecting ends your snake.

If the game says Update required, update the app or reload the page before playing again.
