Free-for-all
Every snake for itself. The last snake alive wins. Your place depends on how long you survive, not on your score.
Trios
Teams of three. Invite up to two friends, or play alone and the game fills your team. Teammates share a team color and a number, and you can see them on the minimap. The last team with a snake alive wins.
Watch out for your team: touching a teammate eliminates you too.
Warm-up and start
Every Battle Royale match starts with a short warm-up to practice in. Crashes still count, but you're back after 2 seconds. Warm-up lasts about 20 seconds and runs a little longer when more players arrive (up to 45 seconds). Bots take any empty places.
Then everyone restarts at the same size. After Get ready and a 3, 2, 1 countdown, the match begins on Go! Nothing from the warm-up carries over.
The storm

- The storm. With your head out here, the storm meter fills.
- The storm's edge. It moves in each round.
- The safe area.
- Minimap: blue is the storm, and a white ring marks the next safe area.
After Go, a storm closes in over 18 minutes, in six rounds:
- A white circle appears on the ground and on the minimap. That is the next safe area.
- After a pause, the storm moves in until only that circle is safe.
The top of the screen shows when the next circle appears and when the storm moves. Outside the safe area a storm meter fills, and you're out after about 7 seconds. Going back inside resets it. By the end nothing is safe, so keep heading in.
Infinite
No countdown, storm or items. Join at any time and grow. The leaderboard ranks snakes by score, which grows with your size. When you're out or you leave, that snake is gone and the next one starts small.
